Why is it sometimes you set a goal, you've made your plan and a few weeks later you've crashed and burned and have swerved off course and got back to your usual routine ?

So what is going wrong and why does this keep happening ?

- Do your goals align with your values .Do you still see and feel why you wanted this in the first place?
- Have you set too many goals and don't know which one to focus on ?
- Are your timescales realistic or are you running around trying to do too much and getting exhausted ?
- Do you really believe you can do it or are you sabotaging yourself by procrastination because you are in fear ?

Keep motivated by returning to your why. What are you achieving by getting this goal - more money - more time with the family - better health.

Get a friend to keep you accountable. Sometimes the journey can be long and bumpy and having someone cheer and cajole you along can help keep you focused.

Take small steps. Going out of your comfort zone IS uncomfortable so decide how much is comfortable and take that step.

Be flexible. Sometimes things don't work out as planned. Don't give up. Work out what can be done better or different and then take a small step in that direction.
