Summary
My biggest advice when looking for a celebrant is to not choose the cheapest or the nearest - choose the celebrant you can relate to. You need to feel at ease with them and to feel you can relate with them. Every celebrant's approach is different so shop around until you find that connection.
Personally, I go for the "human" approach whilst still staying professional. Most of my couples and families are surprised by how much we have in common and I love that we can just chat as friends, completely relaxed! I honestly think this approach not only puts you at ease but it will really help you open up so I can get a great idea of what you're all about, so ultimately I can create a ceremony which truly reflects you.
I deliver ceremonies in a lighthearted, story-telling style which instantly puts everyone at ease and allows you all to really enjoy the ceremony. I love adding a little fun without losing any of the sentiment and watching the reactions of your guests to your story.
