Summary

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1995. In my NHS career I have had a variety of experience including; Managing and Providing Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Services to both In-Patient and Community Services; Case Management, Multi-disciplinary Clinical Leadership and Management; Training of various staff, including students; Staff supervision and mentoring, to name but a few.
In 2005 I started my own business in Independent practice alongside a career in the NHS. The business gradually grew to the point that I became truly independent in August 2010, leaving the NHS after 15 years service.

Expertise


My clinical experience has included the fields of Rehabilitation of Older People; Trauma and Orthopaedics; Hand injuries; Rheumatology; General Medicine and Surgery. I have a specialist interests in working with amputees and older people.
I also have skills in management, change management, people management and developing clinical services.
