Do you know anyone who delivers take aways for a few extra pennies? Well be warned. The police will stop you and if you do not have business cover on your insurance they will seize your car, charge from £135 release fee and prosecute you for driving without insurance even if you have insurance for social domestic pleasure purposes! A new driver will revert to provisional licence holder. Have to pay for re-test and insurance premiums will shoot through the roof. Surely the police should have a policy that where a driver doing this has general insurance cover that all they do is warn them and take the take away from them.. Notably they do NOT prosecute the take away owner who has caused them to be on the road delivering food! Why not they are the one's making profits! Please share this with as many people as possible to warn young drivers of the dangers. It only costs a few quid to get the business cover- its worth it!
