Flexible Working in Workforce

Flexible Working in Workforce

There has been renewed talk about flexible working recently with reports that the number of home based roles dropping off and more companies requiring their people be in the office more often.

How’s your business doing with flexibility, is it something you currently have in place, is it something you’re looking into or are you looking to make changes to the current flexible offering you have?

When executed well a flexible scheduling plan can boost recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.

However, there’s more can be done with flexible working than just offering a mix of working from home and in office shifts each week. Understanding your area and creating options to appeal to specific demographic groups will also help to build a shift proposition that appeals in the job market and aids retention.
Having a good balance of full and part-time shift patterns also gives you a more robust schedule and offers options for experienced people who can’t commit to full-time working.

If you’d like to learn more about flexible scheduling and how it can work in your business contact one of the team today to find out more.
