Treasurer of ARCH
The Association of Registered Colon Hydrotherapists, ARCH – was founded by the late Milo Siewart in 1987. It has been the leading professional association in the UK ever since and ARCH members must be qualified from a recognised training course.
I am proud to say I have been on the committee of ARCH since 2012 and treasurer since 2013. ARCH has just celebrated its 25th anniversary year in 2012 and is the oldest and biggest UK colonic association.
I work closely with the Chairperson Gillian Edwards (who inspired me originally) and also Linda Booth and Angela Beasor.
Being a member of ARCH you are required to meet the high standards of practice and training as required in the National occupational Standards for Naturopaths (written by the Government agency Skills for Health) and the Core elements for Naturopathic Colonic Hydrotherapists and I am classified as a Naturopath on the CNHC register because I am qualified in other disciplines as well as colonic hydrotherapy. The CNHC is a government funded organisation who work with the Department of Health to ensure the highest level of practice within the complementary healthcare field.
