As I led some Imperial College biomedical students through entrepreneurial decision making today, I reflected that many of them will not begin to use this skill for some time. That for some of them, they will be in their mid-career before they have their own business or attain senior management positions that involved make-or-break decisions.
But as with all my teaching, I hope that they may retain some memory of the tools and techniques we used today so that their entrepreneurial decision making will be easier.
I work with many people who are experts in their field and super successful at what they do, but who have never used entrepreneurial deicsion making before. They lack experience in some elements of running their own business and lack confidence in what's right for them.
