Telephone answering specialist Moneypenny, based on Wrexham Technology Park has revised its recruitment projections for 2014 as the business continues to grow rapidly.
In January the company announced the creation of 100 new jobs in 2014, however to date that figure has already reached 80 with 50 more planned to the end of the year.
Managing Director Glenn Jackson says: “The first half of 2014 has been very busy with a 25.5% increase in overall call volume as compared to the same period 1st January to 30th June 2013.
“We continue to experience growth across all business areas, in terms of companies requiring overflow or fully outsourced telephone answering support, both within existing client markets and as new ones open up to us.
“Our team in New Zealand is getting busier answering overnight calls for UK businesses during their daytime and the introduction of Moneypenny’s sister product Penelope in 2013 has had a noticeable impact, way ahead of its first year sales projections. New to the market for us this year has been Digital Receptionist, a technology solution we have devised in-house that is changing the way large companies handle their incoming calls.
“Overall then these are exciting times for Moneypenny, all adding up to an accelerated need to grow the people side of the business over and above our initial expectations for the year. We purposefully overstaff to ensure that however quickly the business is growing; we are always several steps ahead to absolutely guarantee service quality. We continue to recruit on attitude and personality, rather than particular qualifications and are looking for positive, ‘can-do’ people to bring their own energy to our teams.”
